Winning the PIA award in the Prime Machinery Supply Partnership category was a fantastic experience. Having won this category working for a different supplier some years ago, I had a very clear understanding of just how innovative we would need to be, and what it would mean to both ourselves and our partners, including the customer, should we be fortunate enough to win. The judges’ comments, and the feedback from the customer gave a real boost to the team here in SDUK and Hi-Tech Automation, and fully justified their efforts and innovative thinking. To have won this at our first attempt in many years, and against such tough opposition was a real confidence booster for everyone involved. The trophy has pride of place in the offices of all three partners, and we at SDUK will for sure be entering & attending again in 2025.
