About this category This category is open to all companies in the industry - suppliers, processors, OEMs - who have apprentices or trainees and to academic establishments. In its’ role as a Trade Association for Plastics Machinery companies, PMMDA encourages Members to play an important part in developing the skills of young people within the industry. The Apprentice/Trainee of the Year Award will be sponsored by Krauss Maffei this year, and once again the PMMDA has donated a prize of £1000 to be awarded to the winning finalist. Each person must be entered by his or her training establishment or company. Finalists will be notified by 1st May. All finalists in this category will be interviewed by the judges and should be accompanied by their mentor or supervisor.
