This category is open to all companies in the industry - suppliers, processors, OEMs - who have apprentices or trainees. Nominate an apprentice or trainee now online or download an entry form here Apprentice/Trainee The judges will be looking for measurable results in areas such as academic achievements, skills development and overall performance in the workplace. Each person must be entered by his or her company. Finalists will be announced 12th June and finalists in this category will be interviewed by the judges at the BPF Offices in London on 17th June 2009. Finalists should be accompanied by their mentor or supervisor.

A3 – Please describe as clearly and succinctly as possible how the apprentice or trainee has demonstrated each the following. As a guideline this entire section should be no longer than approximately 400 words.
a. Briefly describe the background to your company and the person that you are putting forward for this award. :

c. Describe the progress that the person has made with references to skills development and academic achievement. :
d. Explain why this person deserves the award, including evidence of their effective overall performance, their initiative and their involvement in the company’s development. :
